Whether you're recovering from a work-related injury, undergoing post-operative rehabilitation, or dealing with more complex acute or chronic condition, we're here to help.
During your initial physiotherapy consultation, I take a comprehensive approach to understanding your injury. I’ll review your detailed injury history, general medical background, lifestyle, sports activities, and personal goals. This information is vital in forming a complete picture of your needs, helping me accurately diagnose your injury and develop a personalised treatment plan.
In some cases, further investigations may be required, such as a referral to a GP for scans. Rest assured, I’ll guide you through this process and ensure you receive the right pathway alongside your treatment.
If you require any follow up treatments I'll look at your injury in more detail. Depending on your condition, this may involve manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise therapy, or a combination of treatments. Throughout our work together, we’ll discuss your condition to help educate and empower you to manage your injury and avoid recurrence.
Each session typically combines hands-on manual treatment with exercise therapy to promote healing and recovery. Depending on your needs and the stage of your injury, your treatment may initially only require manual treatment and advice. Each session typically combines hands-on manual treatment with exercise therapy to promote healing and recovery. Depending on your needs and the stage of your injury, your treatment may initially only require manual treatment and advice. However, as treatment progresses we’ll usually introduce exercises in our gym, where I’ll guide you through a personalised exercise program. I’ll coach you on proper technique to ensure you’re exercising safely, preventing future injuries, and optimising your performance.
You'll get a program to follow at home to help speed up the recovery process and get bac to full health.
Exercise rehabilitation is an often overlooked, yet a vital part of the treatment process. It can significantly reduce recovery time and help rebuild strength and mobility.
My goal is to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to manage your body independently and optimise performance.
